Welcome to my new website and blog. The website is a showcase of creative endeavors from the past decade. I do have older material, but most of that content requires some form of conversion to digital. I do feel that a lot of my photography from silver halide days stems from my experience as a photographer in the United States Navy and is heavily weighted in photojournalism. I did however dapple in fine art photography, but most of that genre is delegated to landscapes and weird abstract compositions. Someday soon I'll dig into my shoebox archives and post some of the more interesting oddities. In the meantime I hope that this website offers you the opportunity to see what I have been hoarding in my hard drives, piles and closets over the years. I look forward to posting interesting subject matter based on my artistic adventures. I hope to be just as creative and productive as I was while attending college these past five years. Although the rigors of daily life may dictate otherwise, I hope I can continue to remain inspired and inspire others in their creative process.
The image above is a composite from my original website homepage. Unfortunately that website never came to fruition for one reason or another. Mind's Eye Photography and Creative Imaging was my business name and brand that allowed me the opportunity to work freelance and gather experiences as a photographer and graphic designer. Unfortunately not one image of my work was ever posted to the site except for the homepage collage. Hopefully I can look back and chock it up as lessons learned.
